Democratic Processes

Registration as an elector in the borough is required by law, although there are some restrictions on who may register as an elector. Depot

Disabled/Blue Badges (this is an external hyperlink)

Blue Badges are parking permits for disabled motorists who reside in the borough of Fareham.  These badges enable them to park free in all pay and display car parks.  The Blue Badge must be clearly displayed in the parked vehicle, with the expiry date facing upwards.  For further information contact 01329 236100 or email customerservices@fareham.gov.uk

Disabled Parking Swipe Cards

Blue Badge holders who are Borough residents can apply to the Council for a swipe card allowing free entry and exit to the Pay on Foot car parks. Dog Bins

A strict monitoring system is in place to ensure that the dog bins are emptied 3 times a week.  To request a new dog litter bin, replacement dog litter bin or report a damaged bin, contact 01329 236100 or e-mail customerservices@fareham.gov.uk

 

Dogs Lost/Found

Dogs - Strays

A stray dog is any dog that is on the loose, unsupervised, on a road or designated area, whether or not it has an identification tag.  Upon catching the dog, the first need will be to try and return the dog direct to its owner if the address of that dog is known.  For further information contact 01329 236100, or e-mail customerservices@fareham.gov.uk

Downend Composter Site

Hampshire County Council have three waste composting sites, including one located at Downend. Dropped Kerbs/Vehicular Access

Dumping (Fly Tipping)

Dustbins - Emptying

We collect recyclables in your blue top bin one week, and the following week we collect refuse in the green bin. You get a collection every week, alternating between recycling and refuse.
