Race Equality Scheme

Radar Keys

Radar keys are for use in public toilets by residents of the borough of Fareham who have a disability. Ragwort

Uncontrolled ragwort left growing in and around horse pastures exposes horses and ponies to poisoning and possibly death, and the infestation will increase each year as plants set seed.  Ragwort is also harmful to humans. Recreation Grounds - Outdoor Parks/Sports Pitches

Fareham has 24 football pitches; 9 grass cricket squares and 2 artificial squares; 2 rugby pitches, one of which is floodlit; 4 bowling greens, 20 tennis courts (which are usually licensed to a tennis club or an adjacent Community Centre); and four petanque terrains.  For further information contact 01329 236100 or e-mail customerservices@fareham.gov.uk.

 

Recycling

Fareham residents are encouraged to continue recycling their household waste; their recyclables are still being put to good use, despite the impact that the economic downturn is having on the demand for materials. Recycling Centres

Register of Electors

Remembrance Sunday

On Sunday 13 November the names of loved ones who lost their lives as serving members in British Armed Forces' conflicts, will be read out at Trinity Church, Fareham from 10am, prior to the Remembrance Service, which starts at 11am. customerservices@fareham.gov.uk

In partnership with Capita Business Services you can pay online for a range of Council Services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week using your credit or debit card. Residential Car and Cycle Parking Standards Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) November 2009

Following changes in government policy, the Residential Car and Cycle Parking Standards Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) has been revised.  This will ensure that appropriate levels of car parking are provided in new developments, is a key part of making sure residential areas are attractive, accessible and safe for existing and future residents.
