In 2001, Fareham Borough Council introduced a Young Citizen of the Year award to recognise the bravery and courage of young people in Fareham aged between 4 and 18. Nominations for Young Citizen of the Year are invited during January and the selected Young Citizen is presented with the award at the annual Mayor Making Ceremony. Fareham's Young Person's e-panel is an online service where young people can have their say about life in our Borough. To join the e-panel you must be a resident of Fareham, aged between 13-19 years, and have an e-mail address which we can use to contact you.
