Procurement Strategy

Procurement is the full range of activities that lead to the effective purchase of goods, services or works. The process spans the entire 'product lifecycle' from initial concept and definition of business need through to the end of the useful life of an asset or the end of a services contract. The procurement process is not just limited to the purchasing function but also the 'creativity' involved in the design and packaging of large or complex procurements.
