The Council is committed to maximising the use of technology in the procurement process, and as such is continually exploring ways of doing business with its suppliers and customers through this medium. By using the SEBP we are enabling local businesses to receive an e-mail each time a tender opportunity arises in the Council.

Important Note:

• As part of the tendering process the Council will ideally look to use suppliers who are pre-qualified and fit to supply.  This greatly reduces the cost of tendering for both the Council and Suppliers.  The Council recognises a number of accreditation schemes for the purpose of streamlining the tendering process related to Council  contracts.   Do not miss out on a tender opportunity, check the accreditation schemes that are recognised by the Council 
• Although the Council will do its utmost to make you aware of any suitable opportunities, it can not guarantee that every register of interest will be matched to every contract opportunity, due to the nature of the Council's decentralised procurement environment
