Graham Whitehead gave an inspirational and thought provoking multi media presentation to the largest ever meeting of the Fareham Technology Forum.
As BT's Advanced Concepts Manager, Graham was able to draw upon his experience of working with new technologies and presented some real and imagined examples of what could happen when we are all connected, all the time. Graham explored the business opportunities of future technology and the Internet ranging from personal avatars to intelligent machines.
The evening, organised by NewNet with the support of Fareham Borough Council and BT, took place at the new faretec building at the Cams Estate.
Executive Leader of Fareham Borough Council, Councillor Seán Woodward, who chaired the event, said: "After 5 successful years, the largest Forum event so far has been a real eye opener. Technology markets are real battlefields at the moment but Fareham businesses are going from strength to strength, illustrated by the Forum continuing to attract world-class speakers."
Peter Coates, Managing Director of sponsors NewNet plc, said: "I am really delighted that Graham presented an insight into the future of business internet. As more and more business services depend on the Internet , both the providers and customers have to adapt to new, evolving technologies. It promises to be a great evening."
