The Forum returned to Cams Hall, Fareham on 2nd February 2005 to hear how Nigel Biggs was helped and sometimes hindered by advisors in the process of growing his company, Pixology, that developed as digital photography developed and where it is going.
In 1995, the Company created the World's first digital image management software for consumers and together with photographic specialist Jessops, Pixology launched the UK's first high street digital image printing service in June 2000 supported by 3i and Young Associates investment of £5m. Second round funding of £3.75m in Aug 2002 led to the companies first deals in US (DR) and Japan (Nikon).
Twelve months ago, shares in Pixology were admitted to AIM on the London Stock Exchange and raised £28m to drive further growth. Lord Young of Graffham is now his Chairman and Nigel retains his involvement as Research Director.
