Objectives

The Fareham Technology Forum is co-ordinated by Fareham Borough Council and has been established in partnership with companies and organisations active in Fareham. It offers the opportunity to:

• develop better links with educators, business support services, smaller companies and the community
• exploit new technologies and joint ventures
• train and trade in transferable workforce skills
• mine the employment market for hidden talents
• access community based marketing initiatives that help ensure that people currently not accessing your technology, can, throughout life

Fareham Technology Forum initiatives are designed to:

• help you to share expertise, facilities, distribution networks, a single product or service
• deliver initiatives quickly and cost-effectively
• reduce risk and disturbance to your core business
• provide hi-growth, hi-added value workable initiatives in meeting increasingly changing customer and community needs
