Deputation to Meetings

Fareham Borough Council has adopted a scheme whereby people resident or working within the Borough may attend a meeting of the Council, the Executive, the Scrutiny Board, a Committee or a Panel to speak on a matter that is due for discussion. A list of forthcoming meetings is displayed at the Civic Offices and copies are available from the Democratic Services Section.

Copies of agendas, minutes and reports for all meetings, unless confidential, are published about a week before the meeting and are available for inspection or purchase. 

If you wish to speak at a meeting about an item which is due for discussion, you may do so provided you keep to a few general rules. A different scheme applies to Planning Committee.

If you have any specific requirements regarding access to the building or if you need help in delivering the deputation, please contact the Committee Team.
