Protect and Enhance the Environment

- Work to respond to climate change (147 Kb
by reducing the impact of the Council's activities on the environment and by ensuring that it is prepared for any adverse risks to service delivery, the public, local communities, local infrastructure, businesses, and the natural environment.
- Ensure that current residents and visitors to the borough of Fareham have easy access to well managed public and open spaces (169 Kb)
that are clean and tidy, maintained and enhanced for the use and enjoyment of future generations.
- Work with the local community to minimise the level of waste going to landfill by providing efficient and effective waste collection services (126 Kb)
that aim to meet the challenging recycling target set by Central Government.
