Local Service Agreements

Introduction

Fareham Borough Council has a co-ordinated strategic planning process that integrates its corporate vision and objectives with detailed service and financial plans that are referred to as Local Service Agreements.  These 'agreements' set out the key service commitments and priorities for improvement for the current spending period (April 2008 to March 2011) and are organised around each of the Council's seven corporate priorities.

Each corporate priority is underpinned by a range of LSAs that are shared across all contributing departments which were developed in consultation with delivery partners and frontline workers.  LSAs are available below and set out a vision and delivery strategy for a range of key outcomes that are required to achieve each of the seven corporate priorities.  They also describe a small basket of national and local outcome-focused performance indicators that are used to measure progress towards each LSA outcome.

LSAs are approved prior to the start of a three-year spending cycle and are updated on an ongoing basis to reflect changes in Council policy and priorities.
