Viewing Planning Applications On-Line

 

What Can I see on-line?

• drawings, details and decision notices of current and recent planning applications from the start of 2000 (some in 2004 and 2005 are not yet available);
• view details of applications submitted from the start of 1991;
• follow the progress of current planning applications;
• submit your comments on-line;
• search, by property, date and other fields, a constantly updated list of applications received and decided;
• view recent planning decisions & appeals.

Click on 'Key Dates and Documents', to view documents from planning applications and the other information listed on-line.

 

Please Note:

 

• search for cases using only one field with minimum information (e.g.: 'kiln r', 'P/02/1111');
• try alternatives if you don't find what you are looking for;
• It takes time to register new applications, so give us a few days and try again;
• To be sure you have all the information we hold on a site or to see earlier records, visit or contact the Council

 

Important - Copyright Notice

Planning application information submitted to the Council is protected by the Copyright Acts (Section 47, 1988 Act). The Council may make documents available only for more convenient inspection, to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans. You must not make further copies without the prior permission of the copyright owner.

 

How do I comment on Planning Applications via 'On-line Planning'?

Fareham Borough Council welcomes your views on applications.  You can comment, support or raise objection to an application for planning permission on-line.  You can do this by clicking on the 'Comment on this Application' link which appears on the application you are viewing.   In your response:

• please explain your views clearly;
• please include your name and postal address, otherwise we will not take your comments into account

You should only include material you are happy for the public to see online. Personal telephone numbers, email addresses and signatures will not be published on our website but will be on the original comments on the paper file and available for public view if they visit the office.

There is a limited time in which you can make comments on an application.  The deadline when comments are due by is set out on the application you are viewing.  Comments received after the deadline will not be taken into account.

You may also wish to speak to your local Councillor to let them know your views. If the application is to be considered at a Planning Committee you can attend and may be able to address the Committee if you give us sufficient notice.

 

Use of your information

The Council has a duty to make all written comments received available for public inspection. Please be aware that all comments received can be viewed on the Council's website or inspected at the Civic Offices.  Comments should only deal with the application and not other personal matters.

 

Other Considerations/Limitations

The on-line planning history contained within the site is not complete and should not be relied upon in connection with a property transaction. The Council will not accept responsibility for any errors or omissions in the planning history information obtained from Online Planning. Similarly the information contained within Online Planning does not constitute in any way a formal notification of a planning decision, and as such any actions taken as a result of information displayed on the site are undertaken entirely at the viewer's own risk.
