Policies and Advice for those Planning to Develop Land in Fareham

The saved policies from the Local Development Plan set the context for development in Fareham and determine what development the Council will accept in principle. The saved policies are listed in a letter from the Secretary of State (34 Kb) .pdf. The text of the saved policies dealing with particular topics can be viewed by following the links above.

When it is adopted, the Local Development Framework will replace the Local Plan.  The documents which form the Local Development Framework will be considered when the Council makes decisions on applications for development, so see how changes being introduced here affect the land you are interested in.
