Food Safety

Welcome to the Food Safety section within Environmental Health.  The Food Safety Team work with food businesses in the Borough to help ensure all food served in the Borough is safe to eat.

 

The service has wide ranging duties to ensure that food is manufactured, prepared and sold in a condition fit for human consumption.  We also investigate cases of suspected food poisoning.
