If you want to visit houses or places of business within the borough of Fareham, and make appeals to the public to give money or other property (or buy articles from you) for charitable, benevolent or philanthropic purposes, then you must hold a house to house licence to promote the collection. It is an offence for any person to either promote a collection and/or to act as a collector without the benefit of a licence.

provide other information in order that we can process your
application. The promoter may also be required to complete a
police check form, which will allow the Police HQ to disclose any
criminal convictions in order that an application can be
considered. All information received will be treated in
confidence.
Applicants for House to House Permits may be requested to have a Police Check done prior to the permit being issued.
