For Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Drivers

It is preferred that the application paperwork is collected from the Licensing Section at Fareham Borough Council when the details will be explained by one of the Licensing staff to ensure that you complete all the documents correctly. 

 

Before issuing application documents a preliminary questionnaire must be completed.

 

All applicants for Hackney Carriage and Private Hire drivers licences will required complete a Knowledge Test for the area.

• Summary of Byelaws and Code of Practice (40 Kb) (applicable to Hackney and Dual applicants undertaking Knowledge Test only)
