Refuse Disposal

The subject of refuse disposal is unfortunately a common problem for residents and the Council; despite the provision of facilities for the disposal of refuse and recycling waste, a small number of residents persistently leave rubbish bags on landings or in the service area. The Council's refuse collection service does not cover the removal of these or bulky waste items that have been dumped. The knock on effect being that the surrounding environment around homes becomes unsightly and the waste attracts the dumping of more waste and vermin. In the interests of all residents please ensure you dispose of your refuse properly and in so doing help to keep the area around your home tidy.
