Fareham Home Energy Boiler Scheme

Who is Eligible?

All Householders who own their own home and:

• are not in receipt of any of the qualifying benefits listed for the Warm Front Grant Scheme (this is an external hyperlink) and
• can demonstrate that they spend more than 10% of the family income on their fuel bills.

What is Provided?

A grant towards the cost of replacing a defective / inefficient Central Heating System where the existing installation is over 15 years old.

 

A grant towards the cost of installing a Gas Fired Central Heating System where none currently exists (depending on a gas supply being available to the property).

 

These measures will only be installed where the householder agrees to also receive necessary insulation measures as described for the Fareham Home Energy Insulation Scheme.

How do I Apply or Obtain Further Details?

This scheme is managed through the Fareham Borough Council Home Improvements Grants Scheme.  Applicants will be required to complete an application form and provide copies of their fuel bills and income statements covering the past year.

This scheme has a limited budget and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
