Social Housing Fraud Initiative 

 

Fareham Borough Council has successfully bid for some additional money from the Government to crack down on illegal subletting in either Council or Housing Association properties in the Borough of Fareham. If a social housing tenant has sub-let their property illegally then it means that another family could have been denied their chance of being housed.

We will be offering a £200 reward for any information which leads to a successful prosecution.

Any information received will be treated with the strictest confidence and reports can be made anonymously.
