National Land Information Service

Most solicitors will have heard of, or are already using, NLIS. It is part of a national drive to speed up the conveyancing process by using the internet and one of three 'channels'. NLIS acts as a 'hub' between channels, different information providers (such as local authorities, Land Registry and Water Companies), and end users such as solicitors.
