The Environmental Information Regulations 2004 give the public access rights to environmental information held by a public authority.
Access to information requested under EIR will usually be granted within 20 working days from receipt of the request. If the Council has to take more time the Council will inform you of the new date and explain the reasons why.
The Council will not charge for access to information under EIR except where prints or copies are required. In these circumstances, a reasonable cost will be charged based on the actual cost to the Council.
