Public Conveniences

 

There are 17 sets of public conveniences in the Borough with 15 of these under the Council's control, 1 is managed by Fareham Shopping Centre and 1 is managed by Market Quay Developments.

 

Many offer baby changing facilities and are accessible to people with disabilities.

  

All the toilets in the Borough are cleaned at least three times a day, seven days a week. Our contractor will respond within 1 hour of the Council contacting them.

The council is always happy to receive any comments or reports regarding the facilities that we provide. Fareham Shopping Centre Toilets

Fareham Shopping Centre manages a set of toilets for which they are fully responsible. These are located at the rear of the centre, opposite the Shopmobility Centre in the Osborn Road multi-story carpark. If you wish to report a problem,  please contact them direct on Tel: 01329-822506 during trading hours.

 

Market Quay Shopping Centre Toilets

The Market Quay Shopping Centre manages a set of toilets for which they are fully responsible. These are located to the rear of Wilkinsons in a building adjoining the First travel Shop. If you wish to report a problem, please contact them direct on Tel: 01329- 827723 during trading hours.

 

Radar Keys

Facilities accessible to disabled people are kept closed, but access can be gained 24 hrs a day with a special key called a radar key.

How can I get a radar key?

• They are free from the Council.
• Radar keys give you 24 hour access to all the facilities accessible to disabled people in the Borough and throughout the country.
