The Fareham Annual Allotment Competition

The annual allotment competition, organised by Fareham Borough Council, is open to all members of the Fareham Allotment Association, the Portchester Allotment Association and the Western Wards Allotment Associations as part of the "Fareham In Bloom" campaign..

There are three categories in the competition:-

  • Under 5 rods
  • Over 5 rods
  • Best Allotment Site

The judging takes place in two stages with the preliminary stage being held during the month of June. The final judging is usually carried out in July and is undertaken by a qualified horticulturist. Winning Allotment Holders are invited to attend the Fareham in Bloom presentation evening in October at Ferneham Hall.
