Access from Blackbrook Road (vehicular), pedestrian access from Friars Pond Close, Place House Close and Chatsworth Close.

 

Size: Blackbrook Park is approx. 3.8 hectares (9.5 acres)

 

This spacious play area was installed when the park was refurbished in 1999 and is suitable for various age ranges and interests.  The equipment is suitable for toddler (2-5 years old) & junior ages (6-12 years old).  For older children and young people there is also a ball court with basket ball hoop, a half pipe skate ramp and young persons' meeting area.  The play area is entirely enclosed by fencing and includes a wildflower meadow with mature trees and picnic benches.
