
The Burial Record Search facility is provided to allow families to trace relatives buried in one of the eight cemeteries under the control of Fareham Borough Council.
The Council will provide detailed information for two relatives free of charge. A fee of £5.00 per name will be charged for any additional name search requested.
Detailed information including the age of the person at the time of death, occupation, address of residence and where death took place will be extracted from the Burial Registers and availability will be subject to the entry in this register. Should you wish to visit the grave, a location plan showing the position of the grave in the cemetery can also be sent.

If you are looking for a relative's date of death or date of birth and if their death took place in Hampshire, please browse the Hampshire County Council web site www.hants.gov.uk (this is an external hyperlink) . If you are unsure where their death took place contact the General Registrar Office www.gro.gov.uk (this is an external hyperlink) You should be
able to apply for a duplicate death certificate which always contains the date of birth.
