Tasks for 2012 

An overview of the scheduled tasks for 2012.

Becoming involved

 

If you are not a member of the group and are interested in coming along to some of the dates and tasks outlined then please contact us beforehand on how to join the group and for directions on how to get to the sites. We run tasks every Tuesday, Friday and some weekends. Anyone is welcome to come along to the tasks and help for however long a time they can spare. If it’s your first time don’t be nervous – we are a friendly bunch. You don’t have to be super human to be involved in practical conservation work just willing to muck in! Most tasks start at 10.30am unless otherwise shown. If you are coming on a task please wear suitable old clothes, boots, and waterproofs in case it rains. If you are coming for the day please bring a packed lunch and a flask with you. We supply all the tools and will explain the work and supervise.

 

Holly Hill Tasks: Although we don’t advertise the Friday tasks individually please remember that we have tasks at Holly Hill every Friday starting at 10 a.m.  Please ring first if you intend coming

 

Whiteley Tasks: Whiteley Conservation Group (this is an external hyperlink) task schedule is produced monthly in association with Hampshire County Council.

The Volunteer Newsletter (8226 Kb)  also advises of the various volunteering opportunities in the borough.
