Best Newcomer

This is a competition restricted to new allotment holders of the Fareham Allotment Association only. It is an annual event and you are regarded as a 'new' allotment holder for the first three years of tenure only.

The aim of the competition is to encourage the new allotment holders. The judge will look at how the plot has been prepared and maintained, plus the standard and variety of crops grown. The judge is selected by the Association and the winner is presented with a Rose Bowl.
