An image of Bath Lane Recreation Ground Fareham has 22 football pitches; 9 grass cricket squares and 2 artificial squares; 2 rugby pitches, one of which is floodlit; 4 bowling greens, 20 tennis courts (which are usually licensed to a tennis club or an adjacent Community Centre); and four petanque terrains. These are spread around 17 sports pitch locations in the borough, most of which have purpose built changing and shower rooms as well as car parking.

 

In order to use sports pitches and the associated facilities a registration form must be completed either by filling in an online sports pitch registration form or downloading a PDF version of the sports pitch registration form (76 Kb) An image to show a PDF document, clubs must also provide evidence of Third Party Public Liability Insurance cover of £2,000,000 (may differ, depending on the nature of the booking) and a fee is also charged. All bookings are subject to the Booking Conditions and Regulations (109 Kb) An image to show a PDF document.

 

We also provide a pitch booking checklist (34 Kb) an icon to show a pdf document plus information for the 2007-2008 football season.

 

Once you have completed a registration form and sent us a copy of your Third Party Public Liability Insurance, please email us with your pitch booking requirements or call us on 01329 236100 ext 4602

 

You can check the status of our pitches by visiting our online pitch availability service and inform us of a pitch cancellation by emailing us the date, pitch and reason for the cancellation.

 

Recreation Grounds and open spaces are also available for hire for non-sport bookings such as dog shows and fetes. Further information can be found within the Hire of Open Spaces page.

 

Situated within some of our recreation grounds are facilities for children and young people. There are play areas providing equipment that is suitable for children aged 2-5 years (toddlers) and children aged 6-12 years (junior) and some have equipment for older children and young people.
