Play Area Refurbishment Programme

 

The council is currently working to produce a three year play area refurbishment programme which will commence in April 2008.

 

An audit of current play areas has been carried out which has considered location, accessibility and quality of equipped play provision.  This audit has highlighted deficiencies in existing play facilities, as well as locations where facilities are lacking. 

 

We shall be prioritising play areas that need upgrading and installing new facilities across the borough where they are required.
