Portchester Park Play Area

Location: Westlands Grove, Portchester, next to Portchester Community Centre.  Pedestrian access from A27 and Shrubbery Close.

Size: Approx. 3 hectares (7.4 acres)

Portchester Park is located next to Portchester Community Centre in the heart of Portchester.  This well used play area is central to the site and incorporates a grass seating area.  Portchester Park play area was installed in 2001 and features equipment for various age ranges, both toddler (2-5 years) and junior ages (6-12 years).  Additional items of equipment were installed in 2006 and the site now includes:

• Flat swings x 4 (junior)
• Cradle swings x 4 (toddler)
• See-saw
• Junior multi play unit
• Toddler multi play unit
• Springers x 2 (toddler)
• 4m high space net
• 1.8m disc
