Access to the site is from Bells Lane, Park Lane and adjacent greenway (incorporating a cycleway) along the west of the site.

 

Size: Stubbington Recreation Ground is approx. 6.35 hectares (15.7 acres)

 

Stubbington Recreation Ground play area features a variety of equipment suitable for various age ranges and interests.  The equipment is suitable for toddler (2-5 years old) & junior ages (6-12 years old).  For older children and young people there is also a five aside goal, a ball court with basket ball hoop, and a skate park.  The play area is entirely enclosed by fencing and includes a grassed picnic area.

 

Equipment includes:

  • Toddler cradle swings x 4
  • Junior swings x 4
  • Multi play unit – featuring slide, access steps, fireman's pole, arch bridge, scramble net, clatter bridge, log ramp, overhead swing with long hoops & access ladder
  • Springers x 2
  • 5 aside goal/basketball net

There is also a skate park and ball court adjacent to the play area which was installed in October 2005.
