Become a Voluntary Warden on your local Park/Open Space

An image of St Johns GreenwayWe are looking for individuals who take a pride in their local park and would consider becoming Voluntary wardens or custodians of their local park.

We need the help of Volunteer Wardens to prevent the many of our parks and open spaces that we look after across the borough of Fareham from being
abused by a small number of people who spoil the enjoyment of other people
and damage the conservation value of our local countryside.

  • No previous experience necessary
  • Training provided
  • Opportunities to go on further training courses
  • Regular meetings- meet other Volunteer Wardens, conservation Volunteers and Countryside
Rangers to exchange ideas and share experiences
  • Participation in Wildlife Recording
  • A Volunteer newsletter
  • A voice on your local patch.
