Fareham Borough Council has its own transport workshop which carries out service, repair and maintenance of the varied specialist vehicles that are used in the day to day running of the Council's services.

The vehicles fleet is comprised of grass cutting machinery, refuse vehicles, road sweepers, pedestrian sweepers, vans, flat beds and tipper vehicles.

The vehicles are maintained and repaired to ensure that they are roadworthy and where applicable, prepared for their annual MOT checks. 

All vehicles purchased by the Council are sourced to ensure they are fit for purpose, cost effective, reliable and meet the appropriate environmental standards.
