Fareham Borough Local Practice Note: Residential Car Parking Standards - January 2003
Preface
This document provides guidance on the residential parking standards to be applied for new development within Fareham Borough. In conjunction with the Hampshire Parking Strategy and Standards (2002), it replaces all other previously adopted parking standards.
The standards are a Local Practice Note for general residential parking standards only. It seeks to interpret the residential standards contained in the Hampshire Parking Strategy and Standards by taking into account relative accessibility within the Borough to jobs, shops, services and community facilities and dwelling size.
This document was approved by the Fareham Borough Council Executive on 4th November 2002, to be adopted for development control purposes on 1st January 2003.
