Appendix 2: Consultations with Local Crime Reduction Officer
A2. The Council normally consults the Local Crime Reduction Officer - Fareham Police on the following planning applications:
| (1) | All Major developments which involve: | |
| (a) residential applications of 10
or more units; (b) retail applications with a floor area greater than 1000 sq. m; (c) industrial applications with a floor area greater than 1000 sq.m. |

| (2) | Applications for new car parks containing more than 50 spaces; and | |
| (3) | Applications for hood food takeaways, public houses and other licensed premises (including applications to extend opening hours), nightclubs and amusement arcades. | |
The Council also consults on other planning applications and development proposals on which it considers the advice of the Crime Reduction Officer would be helpful.
