The issues raised by respondents were generally of a minor nature or related to matters that could not be resolved in the SPG. A summary of the comments received, the Director of Planning and Development's response to them and his recommended changes to the text were reported to the Planning and Transportation Committee on 3 February 2000 (copies of the Committee report may be obtained from, or inspected at the Civic Offices, Civic Way, Fareham, PO16 7TT). The Committee resolved to adopt the revised SPG.
