Development Plan

The Current Development Plan for Fareham Borough comprises the following:

• Regional Planning Guidance Note 9 (the Regional Spatial Strategy)
• Fareham Borough Local Plan Review 2000 (Saved policies)
• Hampshire Minerals and Waste Local Plan (Saved policies)
• Hampshire Structure Plan Review 1996-2011 (Saved policies)

In due course, the Development Plan will comprise the following:

• Regional Spatial Strategy for the South-East (known as the South East Plan and prepared by the South East of England Regional Assembly), including a South Hampshire Sub-Regional Strategy.
• Fareham Local Development Framework (DPD's only)
• Hampshire Minerals and Waste Development Framework (Prepared by Hampshire County Council, Southampton City Council and Portsmouth City Council)
