Local Development Scheme

The Local Development Scheme sets out timetables for the preparation of the development plan documents that are included within the Local Development Framework. As it is no longer a requirement to include timetables for Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs), timetables for the preparation of SPDs and for the Community Infrastructure Levy Charging Schedule will be found on other pages via the Local Development Framework homepage.

It is no longer a requirement to submit the Scheme to the Secretary of State for approval therefore the Executive resolved at its meeting on 5 February 2012 that the revised Local Development Scheme shall take effect from 1 March 2012.
