Statement of Community Involvement

The Statement of Community Involvement explains how and when local people, interest groups and organisations can input into the planning process in Fareham.

 

Fareham Borough Council has reviewed the Statement of Community Involvement that was adopted in April 2006 and following consultation adopted a revised document on 24th January 2011.  The Statement of Community Involvement has been revised to take account of the:

• Representations received from various bodies and persons about what the content of the Statement of Community Involvement should be.
• Changes made to the process for preparing local planning documents and the nature and content of planning documents.
