What is the Local Development Framework?

 

The Fareham Local Development Framework is a collection of planning documents that are gradually replacing the Fareham Borough Local Plan Review (2000). The Local Development Framework is part of the Development Plan that is used as the basis for decisions on planning applications. The Local Development Framework will be subject to annual monitoring and review so that its preparation will be a continual process, with documents being added or replaced at different stages.

 

All Local Development Frameworks will be made up of a number of different elements. These include:
