Data Protection Statement

In order to administer the travel concession scheme, we need to hold personal information about you.  This information is held securely, in accordance with the Data Protection Act and used primarily for the purposes of providing you with your travel concession.  We may, however, use the information we gather for statistical and similar purposes by the Council and similar bodies e.g. Government departments.  Some of the information we hold may also be shared with other Council departments and similar organisations to enable them to perform their duties or for comparison purposes.  The information we hold about you is normally retained for seven years.
