The concessionary travel scheme is designed to assist residents of Fareham who are aged 60 or over, or who are disabled, with the cost of using public transport.
The Council offers two types of concession:
Where there is an entitlement to both concessions, you may only apply for one, either a bus pass, OR travel tokens. You are only entitled to one concession in any twelve month period.
If you are eligible to receive either concession, you need to choose the concession that is most suited to your own needs and mobility. If you wish to change your concession, please contact the Concessionary Travel team at the Civic Offices for further details.

From 1st April 2009 eligible Fareham residents will be entitled to the statutory minimum concession, which is free off peak travel on local services anywhere in England.
