Election Services at Fareham

• conduct all local government and national elections
• deal with the nomination of candidates
• provide guidance for candidates and their agents
• produce ballot papers
• produce poll cards for all electors
• issue postal votes
• organise and equip polling stations
• recruit and train staff to work in polling stations or at the counting of the votes
• count the votes and declare successful candidates
