Change of Circumstances

You must inform the Benefits Section of any changes to the details you have entered on your benefits claim form for:

  • Housing Benefit
  • Council Tax Benefit
  • Second Adult Rebate

In all circumstances, you must inform the Benefits Section immediately of any changes in your circumstances even if you have already informed Jobcentre Plus or Her Majesty's Revenues & Customs (HMRC deal with tax credits)

 

If you do not tell us about changes we may end up paying you too much benefit and you will have to pay it back.
