Affordable Housing - The Council no longer directly provides new housing for rent, but works closely with other organisations, especially housing associations, enabling them to build new homes or to acquire existing dwellings, for households that require rented accommodation.
Bus Passes - The concessionary travel scheme is designed to assist residents of Fareham who are aged 60 or over, or who are disabled, with the cost of using public transport.
Council Tax - Council Tax is your contribution to the many services the Council provides such as collecting rubbish and providing housing, as well as providing funds for the police service, schools and other services which are run by Hampshire County Council.
Homecheck - Homecheck is a service available for anyone living in the Borough of Fareham who is over 60 years of age or has children under 5.
Homelessness - The assessment of applications for people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness, (who may then be owed assistance from Fareham Borough Council in accordance with housing legislation) is carried out.
Housing Advice - Free advice is given on ALL types of tenure. A list of accommodation offered by local and private landlords can also be provided. Drop-in sessions are available.
