Artist - Stephen Lunn

Drinking Fountain by Stephen LunnStephen Lunn is a blacksmith based in Morpeth, Northumberland. He learnt his skills at Kirkly Hall College, London, Ashington and Hereford.

Stephen has exhibited his work at the Blacksmith International Conference (1996) and the Chelsea Flower Show (1996), winning a silver medal for Askham Brian College.

Stephen draws his inspiration from his Northumberland surroundings, he likes to incorporate natural elements into his work. This is exhibited in the Drinking Fountain, an organic design with various fruits to represent Fareham's market. Sponsored by the Old Priceans and sited close to where William Price set up his first school. Once a year Stephen likes to produce a "fun piece" and this is seen in The Anvil Man with his giant boots and a smile hidden behind his moustache.
