Litter Bin by Charles NormandaleFollowing a full apprenticeship Charles Normandale was employed by a large commercial firm before setting up his Wheely Down Forge in 1984 at Warnford in Hampshire.

Charles has produced work for numerous exhibitions and competitions, contributed to many articles and publications.

Charles aims to produce contemporary pieces of ironwork using traditional skills but developing new techniques in form, surface texture and finish.

For the Henry Cort Exhibition Charles has been responsible for designing and making of the Street Furniture. Wrought iron is the main material used for the litterbins, bollards, railings, cycle racks, seats and benches, which have highlight details in phosphor and aluminium bronze.
