The Communications Team is part of the Chief Executive’s Department within Fareham Borough Council. The unit is responsible for ensuring that communication and information flows effectively between staff, councillors, the public, the media and all our partners.

Media Liaison

The council's Communications Team produces regular press releases and liaise with the media on a daily basis to answer queries and actively promote council services.

 

Publications

Fareham Today magazine

The team produces the quarterly borough magazine, Fareham Today, which is sent to all households, community centres, libraries and organisations throughout the borough. The magazine includes regular features regarding the variety of services provided by the council, including; recycling; community safety; environmental health; parks and open spaces; Local Development Framework; A day in the life of …; how to contact your local councillor and much more.

Consultations

Fareham Borough Council undertakes regular consultation with its residents which includes an Annual Residents’ Survey. To have your say on any current issues, please contact consultation@fareham.gov.uk. Alternatively, you can report a problem or comment online to provide us with feedback on specific issues

 

Graphic Design

The council has an in-house graphic designer who produces all council publications, including Fareham Today magazine; leaflets; flyers; posters; etc.

 

Corporate Identity

The Communications Team is directly responsible for the council's corporate identity, including the use of the logo and name of the council, ensuring that it is used in an appropriate way. In addition, you should contact the Communications team if you are working in partnership with the Council and would like to use the Fareham Borough Council logo.

 

Webmaster
