‘Walking to Health’ programme for August and September

There are a number of Walking to Health events for the public to choose from to enjoy during August and September. The FREE walks are organised by Fareham Borough Council and run by a network of volunteer walk leaders.

Executive Member for Community, Councillor Connie Hockley, said: “Our Walking to Health programme is continuing to grow in popularity as it’s an excellent way for the public to see some of the fantastic locations across our borough. Walking helps to increase your overall fitness and wellbeing, as well as being a great way to meet other people taking part in the walks too.”

See the attached for walks coming up in August and September 2008.

Please note: only guide dogs and hearing dogs are allowed on walks, unless otherwise stated in the walk programme.
