Recycling Surgeries

Fareham Borough Council’s Waste and Recycling Officers will be on hand at drop-in surgeries across the borough to offer advice and guidance to residents on the best ways to recycle.

With four surgeries planned over the next two months, officers will be able to help individuals ensure they are recycling correctly by identifying which items can and cannot be put in to blue top bins.

Executive Member for Street Scene, Councillor Brian Bayford said; “These drop-in recycling surgeries provide an excellent opportunity for residents to learn more on how to recycle in the best possible way. We are committed to maintaining our high recycling rate in the borough whilst reducing contamination levels.”

As well as receiving advice and guidance, residents who have ordered garden waste sacks will be able to collect them at the surgeries. There will be no charge for any sacks collected.
